The mezcal is made using 100% Espadín agave, which is harvested after 8-10 years of growth and cooked in a traditional underground pit oven. After cooking, the agave is crushed by a tahona (a large stone wheel), fermented with natural yeasts, and then distilled twice in copper stills.Corte Vetusto Mezcal Artesanal Espadín is known for its smooth, smoky flavor profile with notes of citrus, pepper, and herbs.
