It is named after the large wooden "tun" or vessel used to marry together different aged whiskies. The Batch 1-7 is a combination of seven rare casks aged between 19 and 52 years, each selected by Balvenie's Malt Master David Stewart. The whisky is described as having a complex and rich flavor profile with notes of vanilla, honey, citrus, and spice.
