The Historical XIXth Century Wine – Lot 20.17 is an extraordinary creation from Château Palmer, one of Margaux’s most prestigious estates. Inspired by 19th-century Bordeaux tradition, this rare cuvée blends Margaux-grown Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon with a hint of Syrah from the Northern Rhône, reviving an old blending style that was once highly prized.
The 2017 release shows fine elegance, wild aromatic complexity, and long aging potential, produced biodynamically in extremely limited quantities.
