The vintage began with a wet winter and a cool, promising start to the growing season. These favorable conditions facilitated the growth of a robust canopy and a fruitful grape set. While January brought some precipitation, the subsequent month of February was characterized by a cool and dry climate, allowing for a gradual ripening process. This extended hang time on the vine proved instrumental, enabling the grapes to retain a vibrant acidity while developing a complex and layered flavor profile, accompanied by supple tannins.
